Ulrich is a partner of the firm. After his secondary school finals, Dr Ulrich Leimenstoll studied law at the University of Cologne and was awarded a grant at the Sorbonne in Paris. He was active at the Institute for Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law of Cologne University already during his law school years.

While serving his internship in the judicial district of the Cologne Higher Regional Court, Dr Leimenstoll worked in the organized crime section of the Aix-la-Chapelle public prosecution department and at the Gercke | Wollschläger law firm. In addition, he continued as an employee of the Institute for Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at the University of Cologne.

Dr Leimenstoll received his doctoral degree from Prof Dr Jürgen Seier. He provides services in all areas of criminal law relating to business, physicians or medicine.

Dr Leimenstoll was a counsel for the defendants, e.g., in the bank proceedings for the Sal.Oppenheim banking establishment and SachsenLB as well as in the Kölner AWB bribery scandal and in the Ford corruption proceedings. Currently, he represents the manager of an automobile company in the so-called "Dieselgate" proceeding in Germany as well as in the US. He is also representing a large number of physicians in various proceedings initiated on charges of fraudulent invoicing as well as medical malpractice. As the current manual on "Kanzleien in Deutschland" (law firms in Germany, 2014) put it, he successfully "made his mark as a defence counsel" and won "nation-wide attention" with certain clients .

Dr Leimenstoll is a lawyer who speaks German, English and French. Apart from having studied in Paris, taken various language courses and staying abroad several times, his language skills are based, in particular, on the periods he served with the Federal Foreign Office at the German Embassies in Bangkok and Seoul.
