Franziska is a partner of the firm. Having studied law at the University of Cologne after taking her secondary school finals, Franziska Lieb is now an attorney and lawyer specializing in criminal law. As a law student she also worked at the chair of Prof Dr Klaus Bernsmann. After her post-graduate internship at the Cologne Higher Regional Court, Mrs Lieb became an attorney and also a partner in the law firm of Thomas Deckers Wehnert Elsner (tdwe) at the beginning of 2001. She subsequently joined the law firm of Gercke | Wollschläger as a partner in 2015.

She provides services in all areas of criminal law relating to business, physicians or medicine. Mrs Lieb is considered an "experienced defense counsel" (Juve Handbuch 2015/2016) and she has been involved in various extensive proceedings. These included the last "trust agency trial" and, working together with Dr. Sven Thomas, the trial held on charges of corruption against Mr Hans Kremendahl, Wuppertal's former Lord Mayor.

She was awarded the title of "lawyer specializing in criminal law" in 2004. Attorney Lieb is a member of the Working Group on Criminal Law of the German Bar Association.

Mrs Lieb is fluent in both German and English.
