After taking her secondary school finals, Attorney Dr Kerstin Stirner studied law at Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg, focussing on economic offences, criminology, criminal law relating to young offenders and on the execution of criminal sanctions. While at the University, she also finished a training course in English legal language. She was active in two prestigious medium-sized law firms during her study and internship periods.
Mrs Dr Stirner completed her internship in the judicial district of the Nuremberg Higher Regional Court, while working with the Gercke | Wollschläger law firm, among other positions. Within the scope of her civil service internship, she completed the training offered by the Bavarian Ministry of State to become a business mediator (CVM).
Attorney Dr Stirner worked on her doctoral degree in the field of medicinal criminal law under Prof Dr Hans Kudlich at the Institute for Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law and Criminology of Erlangen-Nuremberg University.
She provides defence and consulting services in all areas of criminal law, focussing on business and fiscal offenses as well as on the all parts of criminal law relating to physicians and medicine.
Attorney Dr Stirner is a member of the Cologne Bar Association.
She speaks German and English.
