Karina Weil studied law at the University of Münster with the emphasis on corporate criminal and criminal tax law. During the years of studying law, she encountered her first experiences at well-respected law firms. After taking her first State examination, Mrs Weil worked in a prestigious law firm specializing in tax and tax criminal law as a research assistant.
While serving her legal internship in the judicial district of the Cologne Higher Regional Court, she was engaged, inter alia, in the legal department of the City of Cologne and the law firm Gercke Wollschläger. After the second State examination, Karina Weil continues to work for the law firm Gercke Wollschläger as a lawyer.
Karina Weil is writing her doctoral thesis on a criminal tax matter at the Institute for Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at the University of Cologne.
She is fluent in German and English.
